The Prechtl's General Movement Basic and Advanced Course – Hong Kong 2026
The General Movements Assessment is a non-invasive and cost-effective way to identify neurological issues which may lead to cerebral palsy and other developmental disabilities. The assessment can be completed from birth to 20 weeks of age (corrected for prematurity).
It is considered one of the gold standard assessment tools for the early detection of cerebral palsy (CP), alongside MRI and the Hammersmith Infant Neurological Examination (HINE).
The Basic and Advanced Courses in Prechtl’s General Movements Assessment will be held in Hong Kong in October 2026. These courses are essential for healthcare professionals working in early intervention, neonatology, neurology, or developmental therapy.
